Amazing Race with a Difference
Try our most flexible multistage team activity program. Highly customizeable to your specific needs and desired level of activity, Mountain Quest combines the fun and challenge of our best team building games with the strategy problems to navigate from one activity to the next. First across the finish line earns extra points, but does not guarantee victory. Teams earn points at each challenge, so speed is not the only factor!
Details
This event highlights strategy and teamwork with a healthy component of competition and a great deal of fun! Mountain Quest is similar to 'Amazing Race', only with a design to encourage teamwork and fun (not just drama).
How it works
Your group is divided into teams of 4-5 people, where they then race to compete in several challenges that will take them to various locations
Your Race Coordinator/MC provides the first challenge. Clues for the next challenge are given at the completion of each event. Teams earn credits at each challenge station, with victory awarded to the team earning the most credits overall. First across the Mountain Quest Finish Line will be awarded credits, but this does not guarantee your victory. Credits can be awarded for speed, teamwork, creativity, or just because.
Challenges
Challenges and locations can be tailored depending on group fitness/level of adventure, as well as weather conditions for the season. We are happy to tailor the event for your specific needs, accessing our library of available challenges. Total time for this event is between 2.5 and 3.5 hours.
Transportation
Options for transportation between challenges include White Mountain Adventures vans (driven by our guides), local transit, taxis, bicycle and on foot. Transportation credit vouchers are provided to each team to purchase van/taxi transport between challenges. Unused vouchers are handed in at the finish line to add to your team's credit total. Teams may share transportation to conserve credits, but how you pay the driver will need to be determined between your teams.
Includes
Computer tablets are provided to each team to capture photo evidence of challenge completion (all photo/video available to view at the finish line).
Mountain Quest includes an award ceremony with fun prizes, and stories from all challenge facilitators and drivers about the most memorable moments of the day.
